    MEDICAL EMERGENCY SERVICES

    WHERE: In the Main Venue the Medical Emergency Services tent is located near the bleachers. There are two Medical tents located in the Fair Ground and Main Venue, one located to the right of the main stage and one located next to the International food festival. Also, each campground POD has medical staff on duty 24 hours a day, so look for the balloon.

    Lots of things can happen at the Festival: arm-wrestling injuries, faces rocked off while dancing. That’s why the Main Venue, Fair Ground and every POD is home to a BooGoo medical tent, staffed around the clock with BooGoo medical staff. For your safety, the medical tents area is all staffed with licensed professionals. The Main Venue and Fair Ground medical tent is staffed with nurses and physicians, and a roaming medical staff is always on duty in the concert venue.

    In an emergency, if you’re not near a medical tent, find a staff person with a radio, or notify the nearest security personnel so that they can get you whatever help you may need

    Our roads might not look like city streets. But for emergency and maintenance vehicles, they do the job as long as you keep them open. Which is what we ask you to do. Please park in designated areas and don’t drive around the site. Walk on the sides of the roads, and please let all official vehicles through

    FOOD SAFETY

    Please don’t buy from unlicensed vendors. We work hard to ensure all official food and drink is good and safe. And really, if you buy something from an unlicensed vendor, you have no idea what you’re getting. There is lots of great stuff to buy from official BooGoo vendors, who deserve your business, not least because they have made a real commitment to support BooGoo

    ABOUT DRUGS

    BooGoo Music and Arts Festival stands against drug use. First, it’s dangerous to your health, especially in the August heat. Second, it can ruin the weekend for you and those around you. And last but not least it’s against the law: If it’s illegal outside the festival, it’s illegal inside, too.

    If you see someone who is sick, upset, scared or clearly having a bad experience, get help. Find a medical tent or festival staff member. Provide all the information you can to safety or medical staff. Our “no questions asked” policy means neither you nor the sick person can get in trouble when you seek help.

    Our number-one concern is the well-being of all BooGooo attendees. By steering clear of substances and getting help for those who need it, you are contributing positively to the BooGooVibe, and the entire BooGoo community thanks you for that.

     

    ABOUT ALCOHOL

    Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. We will not allow any outside alcohol in to the festival or campsite.

    • You may not bring:Any kind of Alcohol such as Whisky, Wine, Beer, Vodka and etc.
    • No glasscontainers of any kind are allowed into the campgrounds or concert areas.
    • No kegsare allowed into the festival.
    • No outsidealcohol is allowed inside festival ground.

    STAY HYDRATED MAN !

    Dehydration is the number-one cause of unhappiness at BooGoo. Water makes your brain and body work, and you need them both to enjoy the festival. (Not a water drinker? Then tank up with sports drinks, iced tea or anything else without alcohol. You can have fun but staying hydrated will make your day even better.  Look for a water station symbol and stop by for a free refill !

    STAYING TOGETHER

    It’s easy to get separated at festivals. Know where your friends are, set up meeting points, and stick together—two or three brains are better than one! If you think a new or old friend needs help, ask our friendly Boogoo staff to assist, and always leave the show with everyone in your crew.

    MEDICAL STATION

    In the first aid tents located throughout the festival, you’ll find teams of medical practitioners ready to care for your every need — free of charge! If you feel something is wrong with you or your partner, do not hesitate and wait. Head to a nearest aid tent immediately. Remember YOU feeling better is making US feel better together.
